Accordingly, the Malian government will integrate domestic gold resources and establish a new state-owned Mali Gold Refining Company for gold refining and purification, with corresponding policy incentives. Domestic gold mine resources will be prioritized for allocation to this company. Going forward, Mali will strictly control gold refining projects, and in principle, no new gold refining enterprises will be approved. The Mali Gold Refining Company will unify the national gold brand, ultimately forming a comprehensive gold enterprise with integrated capabilities in gold smelting, refining, and processing, playing a core and linking role in the symbiotic industrial chain of Mali’s gold industry development, and even radiating its influence to neighboring countries. This will improve the overall gold production technology level of the country, better promote the development of the gold industry into a distinctive pillar industry of Mali, and contribute to the country’s economic and social development.
