High-Current Density Gold Electrolytic Cell

Patent Number: ZL2017 2 1869404.X. The gold electrolysis unit is a device that utilizes electrolysis to refine crude gold with a gold content of over 95% to a purity of 99.99%. It uses crude gold as the anode, titanium sheets or pure gold as the cathode, and chloroauric acid solution as the electrolyte. By applying a direct current/alternating-direct current superimposed power supply, crude gold dissolves at the anode, and pure gold precipitates at the cathode, achieving the refining effect.

  • e. Transparent Enclosed Fume Hood: It provides a good working environment, is easy to operate, aesthetically pleasing, and the entire unit occupies approximately 4 m² of space.
  • f. Fume Condensation Device: Since the gold electrolysis process requires a relatively high temperature (60-70°C), the fume condensation device can condense and return the volatilized electrolyte, preventing gold loss.
  • g. High-Performance Materials: The main body of the equipment is made of high-performance polypropylene material with added anti-aging agents, significantly extending the equipment’s service life; the overall support frame is made of PPH, which exhibits extremely strong corrosion resistance; the cathode and anode conductive strips are made of titanium-clad copper, offering excellent conductivity.
