Disadvantages of multi-cell series vertical silver electrolytic cells:
- Loose cell structure, requiring a large floor space for the same output.
- Cell design is not conducive to closed production, resulting in flue gas overflow and a poor working environment.
- Too many cells in series mean that a problem in one cell affects the output of the entire series, leading to low overall output.
- Small gap between the cathode plate and the cell wall, prone to short circuits, resulting in large amounts of anode mud and low electrolysis efficiency.
- Loose connection between the copper busbar and the electrode plate, leading to overheating.
