Currently, most refined tellurium electrolysis processes utilize traditional electrolytic cells. During electrolysis, the contact between the cathode plate and the side tellurium bars in traditional cells is mostly small area point contact, resulting in high contact resistance, elevated cell voltage, and low current efficiency. Moreover, traditional electrolytic cells are limited to the electrolysis process and do not incorporate a cleaning step, thus offering limited functionality. Conventional refined tellurium electrolytic cells suffer from low automation, limited functionality, low current efficiency, significant environmental pollution during the cleaning process, poor manual cleaning effectiveness, and high costs, making them unable to meet the industrial demands of refined tellurium production.
